Benzophenone-4 is a broad-spectrum UV absorber, which is white or light yellow powder at room temperature. It has the advantages of high absorption efficiency, non-toxicity, good light and thermal stability, and anti-aging. It absorbs both UV-A and UV-B, and is an FDA-approved Class I sunscreen, widely used in cosmetic products such as sunscreen creams, lip care, styling lotions, regular and glossy hairsprays.
